As opposed to the general idea that many people have about fighting those who fight with you, Jesus instead tells His listeners to love their enemies. How do we do good to those who do us evil? How is this in similar fashion as God the Father? What does this look like to the rest of the world? We talk about these things in our study on the last portion of Matthew chapters 5.

Well, that is the right thing to do; we should love the people regardless if they are our friends or enemies. That is what God has taught us to do; we should always see the beauty and goodness in people not because we will also gain from them, but because that is the right thing to do. Though there are people who hate you, you must focus on the goodness and don't spread hate anymore. It would be better if we will choose a good and clean heart instead!
