Jesus begins to start to teach the multitudes in parables after facing several episodes of opposition from the Pharisees. He begins by describing a simple scene of a sower sowing seed. This is something that everyone there should've been very familiar with; but with this imagery, Jesus teaches valuable lessons about the kingdom of heaven.
