After a long summer hiatus our Deuteronomy blog is back with chapter 26! This section closes out the lengthy middle portion of the book where Moses revealed laws and statutes which were designed to regulate the lives of the people as individuals and as a nation under God. Chapter 26 reminds them of their responsibilities in offering God firstfruits and tithes of thanksgiving for all He has done for them.

Deuteronomy 26 simply talks about being grateful. Regardless if God is giving us problems or blessings, what we must do is be thankful for everything that is happening in your life and just live with it! When there are problems that are coming, God is teaching you to solve it and be the strongest person that you can be. He gave you such problem because He knows that you can do it. When there are blessings, then that's a bigger reason for you to be thankful!
