These verses contain some very powerful imagery which mirrors 2nd Peter chapter 2 in theme, but adding some information for our consideration.  We get a look at God's judgment upon Israel, upon Sodom and Gomorrah, and upon the rebellious angels to show that God will also judge the false teachers that had infiltrated the church.  We also get a window into the contention over the "body of Moses" and the angelic realm.  Listen in as we tackle these heavy topics!  

The epistle of Jude starts of with a BANG!  Verse 3 in particular is one of the most powerful verses in the New Testament scriptures for a number of reasons.  Listen in as we parse out the various lessons we can learn from these introductory verses.

The epistle of Jude is a particularly interesting book that, despite its small size, offers a great deal of theological material to consider.  However, there are also a large number of controversies that come with this book, particularly involving the dating of the book, the author, and its relation to the infamous Book of Enoch.  Listen as some of these very questions are addressed in our study!

As we bring our study of the second epistle of Peter to a close, we examine Peter's comments about Paul, the importance of the apostolic word, and the admonition to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These particular verses are among the most debated  in the Bible.  They are used to promote a litany of eschatological positions.  How can we know which one is right and which is wrong?  Listen in as we go through them very carefully.

The scoffers of Peter's day are still asking the same types of questions today.  They wonder when the Lord is coming back, is judgement even going to happen, because they don't see it happening now.  Peter uses these foolish questions to show the infinite wisdom of God!  Listen as we discuss these ideas!

In these closing passages we talk about the deception of the false teachers and how they lead people astray, even Christians!  

These verses discuss the continued theme of 2 Peter chapter 2 which is the justified and inevitable destruction of false teachers that vex and sway Christians.  In this study we look at the descriptions that false teachers are given and a prime example of a "prophet for profit", Balaam.

In the B part of this study, we examine the three specific examples closer concerning the fallen angels, the flood, and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Each of these examples have aspects that greatly affect the theology of Christians.  Listen in as we discuss them in detail.

This unique and challenging set of verses made for a great opportunity to split the study of them into two parts.  Part A deals with looking at the overall context and how the individual examples fit into the message that is being discussed.  Listen in!
